About the Author - Don Hofmeister
Don Hofmeister has taught more than two thousand students over his thirty-five years in music education. Coming from a family of professional musicians, nine of whom are in the Minnesota Music Hall of Fame, he pursued and obtained degrees in music education from three universities. His articles have appeared in The Instrumentalist, The School Musician and Conn Chord.
